What is the Full Form of SSB?

SSB - Services Selection Board

Services Selection Board is responsible for conducting an interview of the candidates, who possess to join the Armed Forces of India. There is no limitation on the number of attempts that an individual can appear for this interview. For the candidate who has cleared the UPSC written exam are called for SSB Interview.

It is the Personality and Intelligence Interview which spread over 5 days. The Schedule of activities in SSB Interview is:-

Day 0 - Day of Reporting
Day 1 - Screening Tests
Day 2 - Psychology Tests
Day 3 and 4 - Group Testing Officers (GTO) Tasks
Day 5 - Conference

List of Qualities that are tested:-

  • Effective Intelligence
  • Ability to Judge
  • Determination & Courage
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Communication skills
  • Good Decision Making
  • Confidence 

SSB - Single Side Band

Single Side Band is a refinement of amplitude modulation that more efficiently uses transmitter power and bandwidth.

Service Selection Board

SSB: Service Selection Board. SSB stands for Service Selection Board. It is set up by the Defense Ministry of India to conduct an interview for recruiting officers in Indian Armed Forces.
