SUV - Sports Utility Vehicle


Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is a type of 4-wheeler which can run in almost all types of Roads including Highways, City Roads, Forest roads, farmland, and countryside. They have very spacious interiors and sturdy exterior, which makes them one of the best option for on or off-road driving. Some Sports utility vehicle are compact, some have the carrying capacity of a minivan.

There is a huge market for Sports utility vehicle and is increasing day by day. Almost all Automobile companies in India like Mahindra, Tata, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Audi, BMW, are manufacturing different models of SUVs.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a "sports utility vehicle" is "a rugged automotive vehicle similar to a station wagon but built on a light-truck chassis". The "SUV" term is defined as "a large vehicle that is designed to be used on rough surfaces but that is often used on city roads or highways."
