NRI - Non-Resident Indian
A Non-Resident Indian is a term used for a person who is an Indian citizen but has migrated to another country. Apart from this, it is also used to represent a person who is an Indian origin but born outside India. This often includes Indian born individuals who have taken the citizenship of other countries.
