What is the Full Form of CIR?

CIR - Committed Information Rate

In computing terms, Committed Information Rate is the minimum guaranteed bandwidth provided by an ISP to work under normal conditions in a frame relay network. This bandwidth is usually measured in kbps (kilobits per second). In other words, we can say, the frame not exceeding this level is guaranteed to be delivered.

CIR - Credit Information Report

A Credit Information Report contains the credit history of an individual i.e the type and number of loans he has availed like home loan, personal loan, auto loan, credit card etc. The CIR report doesn't reveal the savings and investment details of a person.
