What is the Full Form of LG in Politics?

In terms of Politics, LG - Lieutenant Governor

The Lieutenant Governor enjoys the same power in the Union Territory (UT) that the governor has in the state and the President has at the center. It is the President of India who chooses the Governor and the Lieutenant-Governor of the state & the Union Territory.

 Governors exist in the state while the lieutenant-governors works in the union territories and country's capital "Delhi". However, the lieutenant governor's place is only available in the UTs of Delhi, Puducherry and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands.

 Once appointed the lieutenant-governors has a term of 5 years, but he could be terminated earlier by either a president or himself by giving a resignation.
