What is the Full Form of FTR in Railway?

FTR - Full Tariff Rate

"Full Tariff Rate" is an Indian Railways service, that allows you to book coaches or even a full train. This option is best suited for those going for a group tour, or in case of marriages where a large group of people, called "barat", has to cover a long distance through a train.

 You may go for an FTR booking through IRCTC or by paying in cash to the station manager, of the journey commencing station. FTR coach or train booking has to be done at least 30 days prior to the date of journey.
